The three founding members of Hidden Number—guitarist/keyboardist/engineer Dean Swanson, bassist Joe Stuhff, and guitarist Shawn Diaz—left a series of projects in Las Vegas behind, moving to Seattle only after making disturbing discoveries of an unexplained logical system while on an expedition through the wilderness of Nevada. The band then picked up drummer Kai Strandskov, via a mutual contact and avid collector of the arcane, and entered their second epoch in Seattle with the help of keytarist Richard Weisner. Now with the completion of their debut album, Burn Alive, the band is joined by keyboardist/guitarist Josh Anderson for the third phase of an experiment only slowed by the compression of a shock wave. >> more >>
